The Truman D. Picard Scholarship Program is dedicated to supporting Native American students pursuing higher education in Natural Resources. Preference will be given to students whose degree or area of study directly involves management of Forest Resources or Fire. Students may receive $4,000 if they are college students, graduate students, and graduating college seniors applying or accepted for graduate school to pursue studying Forestry or Fire. Students may receive $3,000 if they are college students, graduate students, and graduating college seniors applying or accepted for graduate school to pursue studying Natural Resources. Students may receive $2,000 if they are high school students studying to pursue Natural Resources, Forestry or Fire. Applicants must submit three letters of reference. Academic and work references will be accepted. Personal references are also acceptable, but in general, solid references from instructors and employers tend to carry the most weight. Applicants must prove that they are a member or descendant of a federally recognized tribe or Alaska Native Corporation. Accepted documents include a photocopy of the member or descendent enrollment card, or a completed BIA Form 4432 Verification of Indian Preference for Employment. The Cognata Scholarship Fund is available to students enrolled at the University's Stritch School of Medicine who have demonstrated financial need, as determined by the University and are of Italian heritage.

The Banatao Family Filipino American Education Fund scholarship program was established to support California high school students of Filipino heritage who demonstrate excellence in math and science to pursue rewarding engineering and science careers where Filipino Americans are underrepresented. The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years. Applicants must be at least 50 percent Filipino. The intent of this Scholarship Program is to support promising students training in an accredited Dental Residency or Dental Specialty Program, including Dental Public Health, Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, and Prosthodontics. Scholarships will be awarded to support meritorious work by students who seek to advance their scientific and applied clinical knowledge as they continue their journey through the oral health profession and their chosen Dental Residency or Specialty Program. These scholarships are open to members of the Hispanic Dental Association or Hispanic Student Dental Association who have been accepted or enrolled full-time in a CODA accredited residency program. Students must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in an oral health related field from a US school or abroad. A written essay or a video essay must be submitted. These scholarships are open to members of the Hispanic Dental Association or Hispanic Student Dental Association who are enrolled in a CODA accredited dental program. Applicants must self-identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community; or self-identity as having a disability; or self-identify as being an active member of the military services, a military spouse, or having a parent or guardian who is an active member; or self-identify as female; or self-identify as Black, African or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Hispanic or Latino, Asian, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. The Cynthia H. Kuo Scholarship is for Chinese students who are actively involved in the Christian faith and/or youth group. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or a current college student. Applicants must be Chinese students who are either first-generation in the U.S. or born overseas, planning to attend a four-year college in the U.S. on a full-time basis, and they must be actively involved in the Christian faith or Christian youth group for the last two years.
