Ed Recker, FAAC®

Ed Recker is a financial aid and enrollment expert with more than 20 years of experience helping students and families navigate paying for college. He currently serves as Director of High School Relationship Management at Sallie, where he partners with high schools, state agencies, and national organizations to expand access to higher education and financial aid resources.

Ed has spent much of his career in financial aid leadership, including serving as Director of Financial Aid at both the University of Findlay and Terra State Community College, and holding multiple financial aid roles at Bowling Green State University. He has also worked as a Senior Consultant with Ruffalo Noel Levitz, advising institutions on enrollment strategy and student success.

Known online as #FinancialAidUncle, Ed shares practical, accessible financial aid guidance across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, helping students—especially those without prior exposure to the process—make more informed decisions about paying for school.

He holds a Master of Education in Higher Education from the University of Toledo and is a Certified Financial Aid Administrator (FAAC®) through the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA).
