$500 Quarterly Book Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $500 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

BookScouter is sponsoring a textbook scholarship. Each quarter, they will award a student with a scholarship to be used towards purchasing their textbooks. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college. They must first complete the full questionnaire. Applicants must submit a short video (1-2 minutes) with their name, major, and most expensive textbook they have had to buy and its price. Applicants must also mention where they bought the book, how they felt about the price, and what they did with the book later. If they still keep the book, it would be great if the applicant could show it. If awarded the scholarship, students must complete a short interview about themselves and their academic plans. Funding is limited and priority is given to students with unmet financial needs and those submitting quality videos about their most expensive textbook experience.
