AAA Northeast Scholarship, with an application deadline in April, offers 12 awards of $2500 each. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The AAA Northeast Scholarship provides financial assistance to children and legal dependents of current employees of AAA Northeast who have been employed part-time or full-time for at least one year at the time any scholarship would be awarded. In the academic term following the application, students must attend an accredited post-secondary institution, including but not limited to a vocational-technical school, that offers a two or four-year degree. Applicants must exhibit academic achievement, demonstrate unmet financial need, and display good character and potential as evidenced by the application responses and a required essay. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years, assuming criteria are still met. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Rhode Island Foundation for more information.
