Description

The ABC Stores Jumpstart Scholarship Fund was established to further the education of ABC Stores' employees and their dependents. Awardees are chosen for their academic promise and commitment to higher education. The Hawai'i Community Foundation will give preference for recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing. The donor requires the applicants to be an employee or dependent of an employee of ABC Stores, Company Island Gourmet Markets locations (Hawai'i, Nevada, Saipan and Guam), Basalt, Duke's Lane Market & Eatery, Lineage, or Island Country Markets. Preference will also be shown to students who have performed community service and who have extra curricular activities.
