Eligibility

ACS Research Scholar Grants, with an application deadline in December, offers numerous awards of $215000 each.

Description

The ACS Research Scholar Grants provide support and resources for investigator-initiated research projects in a variety of cancer-relevant areas. RSGs support early career faculty as a career launching grant mechanism. Those who are eligible to submit a proposal are those who work at a US academic institution or eligible non-profit; were first appointed as independent, full-time faculty less than 10 years ago; and are the PI on no more than 1 R01 or R01-equivalent grant at the time of application. Research Scholar Grants are funded up to $215,000 per year (direct costs), plus 10 percent allowable indirect costs, with a project period up to four years. Applications submitted can focus on research topics across the cancer research continuum. Please visit the award's website or contact the American Cancer Society, Inc. for more information.
