ACSM Research Endowment, with an application deadline in November, offers one award in the amount of $10000.

Description

The ACSM Research Endowment has been made possible by charitable funds and individual donations. This grant will fund mechanistic, hypothesis-driven basic and applied research in all relevant fields of exercise science. This grant's intent is to provide seed money support, after which more funding would be sought from other sources. Applications should clearly describe whether the aims are achieved in the pilot and how the data will be used in future grant applications. Applicants must be an ACSM national member in good standing before applying for funding. This includes international applicants. ACSM chapter membership alone does not fulfill this requirement. Application is open to early career researchers within seven years of attaining their first terminal degree (e.g., PhD, MD, DO). Previous ACSM Foundation grantees must submit final grant and expenditure reports prior to receiving another grant award. Please visit the award's website for more information.
