AJL Student Scholarship, with an application deadline in May, offers numerous awards of $3000 each.

Description

The Association of Jewish Libraries is pleased to offer an academic scholarship with conference subvention. Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted into a graduate school of library and information science. Conference attendance is required as a condition of accepting the scholarship. Prospective candidates should have knowledge of and interest in Jewish studies, and demonstrate the potential, ability, and intention of pursuing a career in Judaica librarianship. Applicants must provide proof of acceptance for the next academic year or proof of current enrollment in one of the following programs leading to a master's-level degree. They may be enrolled at an ALA-accredited library school in the United States or Canada; an accredited library school in either the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand; or graduate library school programs in Israel.
