Description

The Amuse Bouche Culinary Scholarship was established in 2020 by Kevin and Diane Klein. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many restaurants and employees suffered heavy losses. These establishments are vital to our communities and state as they serve many patrons for a place to gather, celebrate, mourn and connect. This scholarship was born to encourage the trade of cooking amazing food to keep our community and people connected, in good times and in bad. Preference will be given to those from Ashland-Greenwood High School. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or Restaurant Management at a 2-year or 4-year not for profit public institution of higher education, with a preference for those attending a 2-year institution. Preference will be given to female applicants and financial need will be considered. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Lincoln Community Foundation for more information.
