Eligibility

AMWPA Research Award, with an application deadline in October, offers one award in the amount of $1000.

Description

The AMWPA Research Award will be given to a top medical or dental student who has published outstanding research. Applicants must include specific details of their research project, mentors and publication and how their research is contributing to the field of medicine in their application. Applicants must have parents who are not physicians (exceptions will be made if parents never practiced as physicians). Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at an accredited nursing, pharmacy, chiropractic, or optometric school in the USA.
