Eligibility

ANNA Evidence-Based Practice Project Grants, with an application deadline in November, offers 3 awards of $5000 each.

Description

Each year, ANNA offers the ANNA Evidence-Based Practice Project Grants, which provide funding to support members in their pursuit of higher education. The purpose of the Evidence-Based Practice Grant is to fund qualified nephrology nurses' work to translate research into practice in support of developing evidence-based nephrology nursing practice and demonstrating the value of nephrology nursing in improving patient outcomes. Candidates must apply for the grants. The principal investigator must be an ANNA member for two years prior to applying for the evidence-based practice grant and remain a full member of ANNA for the duration of the evidence-based practice project. The primary principal investigator must be a registered nurse and must have a minimum of a Master's Degree. If two or more individuals are applying as co-investigators, it is preferable that all co-investigators be members of ANNA for the duration of the research project. Candidates must be actively involved in nephrology nursing related health care services. The project may be a new endeavor or one already in progress. Other funding sources must be disclosed. The ANNA Board of Directors reserves the right to make the final decision on all grant monies awarded. Please visit the award's website for more information.
