ASEV Traditional Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $3500 each.

Description

The ASEV Traditional Scholarship will be awarded to current ASEV student members who must be enrolled in or accepted into an accredited four-year college or university in North America (Canada, Mexico, or USA) in a degree program such as for a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral (thesis or professional). The applicant must also reside in North America during the applicable academic year. Undergraduate students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Graduate students must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.2 Undergraduate and graduate student applicants will be rated on a separate basis. Applicants must be accepted and/or enrolled in a major, or in a graduate group, emphasizing enology or viticulture, or in a curriculum emphasizing a science basic to the wine and grape industry. Two current letters of recommendation must be submitted. At least one letter should be from an academic advisor and/or a recent instructor. Previous applicants and recipients are eligible to reapply each year in open competition with new applicants for the ASEV Traditional Scholarship.
