Baldur Stefansson Scholarship, with an application deadline in September, offers numerous awards of $500 each.

Description

The Baldur Stefansson Scholarship, in honour of Dr. Stefansson's work in the development of Canola, is to be awarded to a student studying Plant Science, to be chosen by faculty at the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Agriculture. Applicants should submit a general request, allowing the committee to consider each submission for any Foundation scholarship which is applicable. Priority may be given to first time applicants. Two references from persons other than family members are required for application, one of whom must be from someone with a teaching background. References may be submitted separately.
