Description

The Barta-Lehman Musical Scholarship will be awarded to students who have resided in San Diego County, California for at least one year. Applicants may be graduating high school seniors, current undergraduates, or graduate students. They must plan to enroll at an accredited four-year university or music academy in the United States in fall. They must be serious and talented musicians planning to pursue a career in music and/or play professionally, string instruments are preferred. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation on official letterhead from their music teacher indicating their level of talent and seriousness about pursuing music as a career.
