Beta Eta Chapter Scholarship

Eligibility

Beta Eta Chapter Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards of $1875 each.

Description

The Beta Eta Chapter Scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian member of Beta Eta-University of Pennsylvania who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to a senior collegian or alumna member of Beta Eta who will pursue a graduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first and second criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the year for which the scholarship is awarded. In the event Beta Eta is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Beta Eta is re-established, the scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Beta Eta who is qualified under the Foundation's then-current general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Beta Eta qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who is qualified under the Foundation's then-current general scholarship criteria. A recommendation from a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and a recommendation from an academic or professional reference are required.
