Description

The Bill Bendiner and Doug Morgenson Scholarship is available for students pursuing a career in human services, health sciences, or visual arts. Applicants must be pursuing post-secondary education in the coming 2025-2026 school year. This includes community college; four-year public or private college or university; certificate programs; vocational, technical, trade programs; law school; medical, dental, veterinary school; or graduate education. Three essays are required, the Personal Statement and the Community Involvement essay may be submitted in written form or a video essay. Optional materials that can be included with the application are academic transcripts; resume with work experience, school activities and honors, and extracurricular and community activities, including volunteer roles, arts, and/or activism; a letter of recommendation; and 1-2 writing or art samples. Transcripts are only required for applicants from Washington. Applicants from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, or Oregon are not required to submit transcripts.
