The Building Future Leaders Scholarship Program For Veterans, Service Members or Military Spouses will be awarded to veterans or those connected with a veteran with an honorable discharge or currently serving with the Navy, Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, National Guard or Reserve Component. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited U.S. high school or High School Equivalency/General Education Diploma Program. Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted at a nationally or regionally accredited college, university, or technical/vocational school and on a successful graduation track toward a vocational/technical, associate's, bachelor's, or graduate degree. Applicants must attach documentation showing academic achievement through military or civilian education, participation in community service, honors, letters of appreciation, and recommendations. Special consideration will be given to applicants who demonstrate leadership or mentoring qualities through participation in their communities' extracurricular or civic activities. Veterans must be honorably discharged with a DD Form 214 or NGB-22 for National Guard or DD Form 256 for Reserves. Service members must submit a valid current military ID.
