Description

The Caste Action Alliance Scholarship Fund is open to those who are African Americans and/or with mixed ethnicity of African descent. Applicants must be a descendant of enslavement. Applicants must be descendants of enslaved persons in America. Documented evidence of ancestors' enslavement is not required. Oral family history of ancestors' enslavement is sufficient. Applicants will be asked to share what they know about their family history regarding enslavement. Applicants must be residents and/or students anywhere in the United States; transfer and re-entry students are encouraged to apply.
