Cathie Waters Cardelucci Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards of $1400 each.

Description

The Cathie Waters Cardelucci Scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Beta Xi-UCLA who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Eta Sigma-Chapman University who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Should no applicants meet the first and second criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the year for which the scholarship is awarded. In the event Beta Xi is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Beta Xi is re-established, the scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Beta Xi who is qualified under the Foundation's then-current general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Beta Xi qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of Eta Sigma who is qualified under the Foundation's then-current general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Eta Sigma qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who is qualified under the Foundation's then-current general scholarship criteria. A recommendation from a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and a recommendation from an academic or professional reference are required.
