Description

The Chester Haddan Scholarship was established in honor of Chester Haddan, CPO, the first President of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC). The scholarship will be awarded to support individuals pursuing a clinical Master's degree in orthotics and prosthetics (O&P). Applicants must be enrolled in a CAAHEP-accredited O&P master's program and display leadership qualities. Applicants must submit a letter of reference from someone who can speak to their leadership attributes. Applicants must also create and submit a video to demonstrate their professional presentation and communication. The video should be 2-3 minutes and should demonstrate their leadership, innovation, self-awareness, and/or collaboration, as well as discuss their goals for future leadership within the O&P profession.
