Eligibility

CHISPA Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $1000 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The CHISPA Scholarship is open to those who currently live or have their parents currently live in a CHISPA apartment building, a rental home constructed or renovated by CHISPA, a home purchased from CHISPA by their family, or a Self-Help Home constructed by their family through CHISPA's Mutual Self Help Housing program. Applicants should have demonstrated perseverance in overcoming challenges, and good character. Preference may be given to students not attending Hartnell College or CSU Monterey Bay.
