Eligibility

CSS Dharm V. Singh Carcinogenesis Graduate Student Endowment Award, with an application deadline in January, offers numerous awards that vary in amount.

Description

The CSS Officers encourage graduate students to submit their abstracts for competition for best abstract awards. While student abstracts may be submitted for multiple SOT awards, the CSS student awards will not be given to a student receiving another award for the same abstract. Applicants must be a graduate student. Their work must be related to the field of carcinogenesis. Applicants must not have received a First-Place award from CSS within the last 3 years. A copy of the SOT research abstract, a research narrative describing the research hypothesis, background and significance, and a letter of recommendation from the student's advisor must be submitted for application. Please visit the award's website or contact the Society of Toxicology for more information.
