Dan Duwell P.E. Scholarship, with an application deadline in September, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The GEF Life Member Committee and Mrs. Sarah Duwell are proud to honor the memory of Life Member Dan Duwell by awarding the Dan Duwell Memorial Scholarship that will be presented to a student studying Mechanical Engineering. Georgia Engineering Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships to freshman, upperclassmen, and graduate students. Only high school seniors who have been accepted to an ABET accredited program in the fall are eligible to apply. Entering freshmen must submit their SAT or ACT scores. Incoming freshmen are also required to provide the names and email addresses of three references. Top ranked applicants will be contacted and scheduled for interviews mid-to-end of September. Upperclassmen and graduate students are required to bring an official copy of their most current transcript to the interview. If the applicant is not able to attend an on-campus interview, telephone interviews may be scheduled and conducted.
