Dan Duwell P.E. Scholarship, with an application deadline in November, offers numerous awards of $5000 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The GEF Life Member Committee and Mrs. Sarah Duwell are proud to honor the memory of life member Dan Duwell by awarding the Dan Duwell Memorial Scholarship that will be presented to a student studying Mechanical Engineering. Georgia Engineering Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships to freshmen, upperclassmen, and graduate students. Only high school seniors who have been accepted to an ABET accredited program in the fall are eligible to apply. Incoming freshmen are required to provide three letters of reference. Letters of reference are best provided by non-family members who have an extended relationship with the applicant. Applicants must provide their names and email addresses. Top ranked applicants will be contacted and scheduled for interviews. Upper classmen and graduate students are required to bring an official copy of their most current transcript to the interview. If the applicant is not able to attend an on-campus interview, telephone interviews may be scheduled and conducted.
