Dr. Iwao and Mrs. Adrienne Shiraki Scholarship Fund, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Dr. Iwao and Mrs. Adrienne Shiraki Scholarship Fund was created in 2021 by the donors for Hawai'i students attending Tulane University, studying medicine. If there are no candidates attending Tulane University as a graduate student studying medicine, then the awardee must be an undergraduate or graduate full-time student attending Washington University located in St. Louis, Missouri. Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good standing. Preference will also be given to renewal applicants. The scholarship can be renewed for a maximum of two years.
