Edith Whitney/Spokane Alumnae Chapter, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $1525 each.

Description

The Edith Whitney/Spokane Alumnae Chapter scholarship is awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior collegian member of Alpha Nu/University of Montana, Alpha Sigma/Washington State University, Beta Theta/University of Idaho, or Delta Delta/Whitman College. If no one meets this, it will be awarded to a freshman collegian member of those chapters who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year, or to a senior collegian or alumna member of those chapters who will pursue a graduate degree during that year. If there are still no applicants, the scholarship will be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity with a permanent address in the greater Spokane, Washington area who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the academic year. If no one meets these criteria, it will be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the academic year. To be eligible for Theta Foundation scholarships, you must be a college or alumna member of Kappa Alpha Theta in good standing with the Fraternity.
