Elizabeth Marie Roberts Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $8000 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Elizabeth Marie Roberts Scholarship was established through Dr. Roberts' Last Will and Testament in order to continue her tradition of service by providing scholarships to students living in the community. The scholarship will provide financial awards for graduating seniors from Durham County. Applicants must plan to attend a public or private college or university. Recipients will be selected based on their character, academic record, service to the community and financial need, with preference given to students pursuing degrees in health-related fields. The scholarship may be used towards any need listed under the school's total cost of attendance. Payments are made annually for up to four years.
