eQuality Scholarships for Community College Transfer Students, with an application deadline in January, offers 2 awards of $6000 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.Description
The Scholarships for Community College Transfer Students will be awarded to students who must be residents of or attend a community college in northern or central California. Applicants must have graduated or expect to graduate from community college between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2025 and plan to attend or begin attending a U.S.-accredited 4-year college or university for the first time in 2025. In 2025, we expect to award one or more of these scholarships. The criteria on which scholarship recipients will be selected include service to the LGBT+ community, leadership, hardship or special circumstances, and academic achievement. Finalists will be interviewed by Zoom video conference or phone. Interviews are expected to be held on Sunday, 16 March 2025, and Saturday, 22 March 2025.
