eQuality Scholarships for Community College Transfer Students, with an application deadline in January, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The eQuality Scholarships for Community College Transfer Students will be awarded to students who are a resident of or attend a community college in northern or central California but may study elsewhere. They must have graduated or expect to graduate from community college between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2026; and plan to attend or begin attending a U.S. accredited four-year college or university for the first time in 2026. Applicants must have demonstrated service to the LGBT+ community. Applicants of all sexual orientations and gender identities are eligible. The criteria on which scholarship recipients will be selected include service to the LGBT+ community, leadership, hardship or special circumstances, and academic achievement. Finalists will be interviewed by Zoom videoconference or phone. Interviews are expected to be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, and Saturday, March 21, 2026.
