Gamma Sigma Chapter Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $1100 each.

Description

The Gamma Sigma Chapter Scholarship is awarded to a freshman through senior collegiate member of Gamma Sigma at San Diego State University pursuing an undergraduate degree during the academic year of the award. If no applicant meets this primary criterion, the scholarship may be awarded to a senior collegiate or alumna member of Gamma Sigma pursuing graduate study. If still unfilled, eligibility expands to any collegiate or alumna member of the Fraternity pursuing undergraduate or graduate education. In the event that Gamma Sigma is disestablished, the scholarship remains active and will be awarded to a qualified member of Gamma Sigma under the Foundation's current general scholarship criteria. If no Gamma Sigma member qualifies, the award may be granted to any eligible member of the Fraternity meeting those same criteria. To be eligible for Theta Foundation scholarships, you must be a college or alumna member of Kappa Alpha Theta in good standing with the Fraternity.
