Gene Baker Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in April, offers 2 awards of $1000 each.

Description

The Gene Baker Memorial Scholarship is open to all AEA members, their children, grandchildren or dependents. This scholarship may be used for any field of study at an accredited college or university and will be applied toward tuition only. The scholarship was established in memory of Gene Baker, the first executive director of the Aircraft Electronics Association. Applicants must be an AEA member or a child, grandchild, or dependent of an AEA member. AEA members include all regular, associate, academic and international members of AEA. Applicants must be at least a high school senior or high school graduate. They must plan to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post secondary institution or international equivalent. Applicants must submit their official transcript of high school or college grades (as applicable). High school transcripts must indicate the applicant's class rank/class size and test scores. Applicants must also submit a dated, signed letter of recommendation completed by a teacher or counselor from the high school or college the applicant is currently attending. The person who will write the letter must be someone familiar with the applicant's work. Applications may be submitted through mail or email.
