Geographic and Land Information Society Scholarship, with an application deadline in January, offers numerous awards of $1000 each.

Description

The Geographic and Land Information Society Scholarship is open to any student enrolled in a two- or four-year degree program in Surveying or Geomatics. The student must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher for the previous academic year of the program coursework and show an interest in the integration of surveying and GIS. Applicants must be student members of the National Society of Professional Surveyors. Three original letters of recommendation from individuals who are not related to the applicant are required. One must be from a faculty advisor. Applicants must also submit a copy of their driver's license or other state-issued ID. Applications and required documents may be submitted through email or mail.
