George & Lynna Gene Cook Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers one award in the amount of $1500.

Description

The George & Lynna Gene Cook Scholarship was established in 1999 by the Cooks to help young people. Applicants must be a current graduating senior or a former graduate of any high school in Nebraska or have successfully completed the GED. Former recipients of the George and Lynna Gene Cook Scholarship may apply. They must be pursuing a degree in ministry or education at any qualified college or university in the United States. Preference will be given to applicants who are members of First Church of God congregations that are affiliated with the Anderson, Indiana church body. One reference email address of the applicant's current pastor or other current congregational leader must be submitted. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
