Description

The Harry Ludwig Memorial Scholarship is designed to support visually impaired Oregon residents pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate studies at Oregon colleges. Eligibility is defined by Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 581-015-0051(14)), and applicants must demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA. To verify visual impairment, applicants must submit a physician's letter confirming either a corrected visual acuity of 20/70 or less in the better eye, or a visual field restricted to 20 degrees or less. Eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions alone are not sufficient. The scholarship is renewable annually for up to four years. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion for more information.
