Heithmar Bjornson Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in September, offers numerous awards of $1000 each.

Description

This scholarship is to be given to the student obtaining the highest academic standing in Icelandic Studies in their final year at the University of Manitoba. The award will be made by the Department Head. Applicants should submit a general request, allowing the committee to consider each submission for any Foundation scholarship which is applicable. Priority may be given to first time applicants. Two references from persons other than family members are required for application, one of whom must be from someone with a teaching background.
