Helen Laughlin AM Mode Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in December, offers one award in the amount of $1000.

Description

The Helen Laughlin AM Mode Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to those with a General Class License or higher. Preference is given to residents of Texas. If no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to residents of Arkansas. If no qualified applicant is identified, preference will be given to residents of the ARRL West Gulf (Texas, Oklahoma) or Delta (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee) Divisions. Applicants may be pursuing any field of study in a four-year college or university. Preference is given to women Amateur Radio operators who are performing at a high academic level. Preference is also given to applicants who have made a contact in the AM mode, but is not required. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the ARRL Foundation Inc. for more information.
