Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Academic Scholarship Program, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards of $4000 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Academic Scholarship Program is for Jewish college and graduate students to offset some of their financial burden. Students must be pursuing careers in the helping professions. Applicants must be born and raised in the Chicago metropolitan area, including Lake County, Indiana; or had one continuous year of full-time employment in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment. They must intend to remain in or return to the Chicago metropolitan area after completing school. Applicants must submit two professional and/or academic Letter of Reference Forms with accompanying recommendation letters. Students under the age of 26 and/or married students must submit their parents' and/or spouse's/partner's IRS Forms. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
