Description

The John & Francesca Vera Community Leadership Scholarship was established by John and Francesca Vera to support students of Hispanic/Latino descent from Franklin High School who have an interest in community leadership. For the 2026 scholarship cycle, one Hispanic or Latino male student and one Hispanic or Latina female student will be selected to receive a scholarship. Applicants must be a Hispanic or Latino high school senior at Franklin High School in Stockton, California. They must pursue an undergraduate degree in any major at an accredited college. Applicants must also demonstrate community leadership and participation in extracurricular activities. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, faculty member, or school counselor.
