John R. Lillard Foundation Aviation Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers one award in the amount of $3000.

Description

The John R. Lillard Foundation Aviation Scholarship is awarded to a Virginia high school senior who is planning a career in the field of aviation. Applicants must have their guidance counselor or other high school official sign all required certifications. They must also submit an official copy of their current high school transcript and a copy of acceptance letters or other verification of enrollment or acceptance into a post-secondary institution. Applicants must submit recommendation letters (no more than three) and a typed sheet listing both school related and extracurricular activities demonstrating accomplishments and leadership capabilities.
