Eligibility

Joye Scholarship Program, with an application deadline in May, offers 7 awards of $2000 each.

Description

Joye Law Firm will offer scholarships to graduating seniors in South Carolina who plan to attend a four-year institution of higher learning in the fall. Selection of the recipients is based on creative entry, school activities, positions of leadership, special honors and awards, community involvement, academic performance, and professional pursuits. In 2021 we launched another scholarship program offering one student attending a historically black college or university the opportunity to win a college scholarship to help further their education. This year, applicants will be able to apply for both scholarships using the same application below. Students must nominate a favorite teacher who has inspired their creativity for a teacher prize. A (bullet-point) list of any extracurricular activities or community involvement is also required. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
