Description

The Kelly Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund will provide scholarships to the children (natural, adopted or step-child), nieces, nephews and grandchildren of Altec Industries employees who are pursuing a degree in engineering at a two-year or four-year college or university. Applicants must be a high school graduate with a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.5; and have an ACT composite score of 24 or above along with an ACT mathematics score of 28 or above; or the SAT equivalent. Canadian students may also apply. They must be a natural, adopted or step-child, niece, nephew or grandchild of a current Altec Industries employee (not an intern or contractor); be a high school graduate with an 80 percent average (Honours); be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university; be pursuing a degree in engineering; and provide a document outlining their enrollment into an engineering program.
