Laurie McGregor Connor Scholarship, with an application deadline in March, offers numerous awards of $1525 each.

Description

The Laurie McGregor Connor Scholarship shall be awarded to (1) a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior collegian member of Gamma deuteron at Ohio Wesleyan University who will pursue an undergraduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. (2) Should no applicants meet the first criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to a senior or alumna member of Gamma deuteron who will pursue a graduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. (3) Should no applicants meet the first to second criteria, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity with a permanent address in the state of Ohio who will pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. (4) In the event Gamma deuteron is disestablished and ceases to exist, unless and until Gamma deuteron is reestablished, the scholarship shall be awarded to a collegian or alumna member of Gamma deuteron who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria. Should no members of Gamma deuteron qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity with a permanent address in the state of Ohio who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria. Should no member with a permanent address in the state of Ohio qualify, the scholarship shall be awarded to any collegian or alumna member of the Fraternity who is qualified under the Foundation's then current general scholarship criteria. Applicants must provide the contact information of their reference, who should be their current or former supervisor or mentor in an academic, community, professional, and/or Theta-related capacity.
