Lillian and Arthur Dunn Scholarship, with an application deadline in January, offers 2 awards of $2500 each.

Description

The Lillian and Arthur Dunn Scholarship will be awarded for up to four years to children or stepchildren of dues-paying DAR members. Outstanding recipients pursuing graduate study may reapply each year for an additional period of up to four years of study. The DAR member number of the mother, who is a current-dues paying member, must be included with the application. At least two, but not more than four recommendations must be submitted. Recommendations should convey the applicant's ability, work habits, integrity, character, potential, and volunteer activities. A copy of your proof of United States citizenship is also required: birth certificate, naturalization papers, or information page of United States Passport must be included. If using a passport as proof of citizenship, cover your photograph. Submitting an expired passport or picture of yourself will result in your application being disqualified.
