Lucille Joel Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards of $1500 each. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Lucille Joel Scholarship is open to RN's pursuing a master's degree in nursing having an interest in health policy or psychiatric/mental health nursing. Applicants must document this interest in Section VI of the application. Applicants must be enrolled (not waiting to hear) in a diploma, associate, baccalaureate, or master's nursing program located in the State of New Jersey or in a nursing doctoral program or a related field, preferably located in the State of New Jersey. The dean or professor/faculty member of the applicant's program must submit a letter of support which should be included in the application. A member of the NJSNA may also apply if they are a Registered Nurse. They must provide their NJSNA membership number, and region number, include a copy of their membership card or verification, and submit their up-to-date CV or resume in their application. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, financial need, and leadership potential. Applications may be submitted through mail or fax, but email is preferred.
