Description

The Lucy Blair Service Award acknowledges and honors physical therapists and physical therapist assistants whose contributions to the association at both the national and component levels, like those of Lucy Blair, have been of exceptional value and impact. Nominees must be physical therapists or physical therapist assistants who are current members in good standing of the association. Nominees for this award must demonstrate impact and service to the association as a whole or to the association's components, or elements relative to the national association; and impact made through service in one or more volunteer roles in the association. A letter of nomination that specifically focuses on the strengths of the nominee in relation to the award criteria is required. Four letters of support obtained from individuals who can specifically address one or more of the criteria for selection must also be submitted.
