Description

The Martha McSally Dare to Fly Scholarship was created by Air Force Colonel (retired) and former U.S. Senator Martha McSally to help Arizonans achieve their potential through their education. McSally overcame trauma and adversity to become the first woman in U.S. history to fly a fighter jet in combat and command a fighter squadron in combat. The scholarship is geared to support men and women who have overcome adversity, demonstrated courage, developed a growth mindset, and have ambitious dreams to do something meaningful in their lives. You need not desire to be a pilot, but desire to "fly" in your life. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Arizona Community Foundation for more information.
