Eligibility
MdNect Medical Resident Scholarship, with an application deadline in December, offers 3 awards of $1500 each.Description
The MdNect Medical Resident Scholarship will be awarded to internal medicine residents to help them achieve success during their residency training and alleviate some of their financial burden. Applicants must be an Internal Medicine resident in a USA accredited Internal Medicine residency program. They must have passed all USMLE exams from the 1st attempt. They may optionally submit In service exam score. It is also optional for applications to submit two letters of recommendation. Applicants must not be a previous winner of the MdNect Medical Student Scholarship or MdNect foreign medical graduate (FMG) Scholarship. Two checks will be delivered to the address in the application. The winner will receive 50 percent of the fund once announced as a winner (1st check) and then will receive the second 50 percent of the Fund in six months (2nd check). The winners must remain enrolled in the residency program at the time of 2nd check due date, except for the successfully graduated medical residents.
