Description

Each year, MdNect will award three scholarships to internal medicine residents. The MdNect Medical Resident Scholarship is intended to help medical residents achieve success during their residency training by alleviating some of their financial burden. Applicants must be an Internal Medicine resident in a USA accredited Internal Medicine residency program. They must have passed all USMLE exams from their first attempt. It is optional but applicants may submit their In service exam scores. Applicants may also submit two letters of recommendation but it is optional. Applicants must not be a previous winner of the MdNect Medical Student Scholarship or MdNect foreign medical graduate (FMG) Scholarship. Two checks will be delivered to the address in the application. The winner will receive 50 percent of the fund once announced as a winner (1st check) and then will receive the second 50 percent of the Fund in six months (2nd check). Winners must remain enrolled in the residency program at the time of 2nd check due date, except for the successfully graduated medical residents.
