Medical Amateur Radio Council (MARCO) Scholarship, with an application deadline in December, offers one award in the amount of $1000.

Description

The Medical Amateur Radio Council (MARCO) Scholarship will be awarded to those with active Technician Class License or higher. Applicants may be residents of any region. Applicants must be pursuing a field of study which must be leading to a career in the healing arts, including, but not necessarily leading to Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, EMT, or Radiology technician. Preference will be given to undergraduate students and those in certificate programs, but graduate students may apply. Applicants must submit transcripts which must cover the applicant's entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded. For students applying for graduate school assistance, high school transcripts are not necessary. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the ARRL Foundation Inc. for more information.
