Description

The Minnesota Association for Korean Americans (MAKA) is awarding a limited number of scholarships to Minnesota high school seniors of Korean origin/heritage who plan to pursue a higher education. These scholarships are intended to enhance the positive self-esteem of students of Korean heritage and to encourage their pursuit of a college degree. All interested individuals are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents. They must also be a Minnesota high school senior in the school year 2024-2025, have a Korean heritage (minimum 25 percent biologically Korean), and be able to attend the awards ceremony on April 13, 2025. It is optional but students may also submit their PSAT/SAT or ACT scores. Applicants may also apply by sending their applications through mail.
