Mothers Fund Scholarship, with an application deadline in February, offers numerous awards that vary in amount. Location restrictions exist. Restricted to those with financial need.

Description

The Mothers Fund Scholarship is for a high school senior pursuing a degree in English, literature, or journalism and residing in the Foundation's service area. Application is available to graduating high school seniors only. First-time applicants must have a FAFSA Student Aid Index (SAI) below $40,000. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, clergy member, guidance counselor, or other community member who they think can best speak to their character, achievements, and potential. Recommendations from relatives or friends are not admissible. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Connecticut Community Foundation for more information.
