NC CPA Foundation Community College Scholarship, with an application deadline in October, offers numerous awards of $1500 each. Restricted to those with financial need.Description
The NC CPA Foundation Community College Scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in community colleges pursuing a two-year associate degree with the intent to enroll in a four-year program and have the potential to become a CPA. All applicants must be NCACPA members to apply for a scholarship. Applicants must be either enrolled in a North Carolina college or university and attending on campus, or enrolled in an online program provided by a North Carolina college or university and residing in North Carolina. Applicants are asked to provide information demonstrating that they possess these traits or have the potential to develop them. Additional factors such as financial need and diversity will be considered as well. Written or voice-recorded responses to a small number of open-ended essay questions are required. One reference from someone who knows the applicant well and is not a relative or peer muse also be submitted. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the NC CPA Foundation Inc. for more information.
