New England Amateur Radio Festival (NEAR-Fest) Memorial Scholarship, with an application deadline in January, offers one award in the amount of $2500. Location restrictions exist.

Description

The New England Amateur Radio Festival (NEAR-Fest) Memorial Scholarship will be given based on the following preferences: First preference is given to those with Extra Class License; Second preference is given to those with General Class License; and Third preference is given to those with Technician Class License. Applicants must have held an amateur radio license for a minimum of one year prior to the date of application. Any undergraduate degree students or two-year technical school students in radio communications are eligible to apply.
